 OBOD East Coast Gathering 2013

Picture
Thursday, September 19–Sunday, September 22
Camp Netimus
Milford, Pennsylvania USA

"The Spirit of the Land and Place"

SPECIAL GUESTS
Damh the Bard, OBOD Pendragon
Cerri Lee, Pagan Artist

Extra Special Guest:
Susan Jones, OBOD Tutor Coordinator

Please join us in the Poconos, putting aside the cares of the mundane world as you commune with nature and with other OBOD members. Join us for discussions and workshops concerning druidism in this modern day, and take the opportunity to meet our special guests and listen to their insights. This is a chance to suspend time for a moment and again feel the power and majesty of the natural world. And perhaps, if you listen closely, you will hear the coyote song in harmony with human voices as Awens cascade through the trees.

Individuals interested in providing workshops, as well as musicians and performers who would like to provide entertainment, are encouraged to send a sample to
eastcoastgathering@druidry.org.

In addition, we are looking for volunteers to help with tending the fires, cooking, clean up, etc.

There is no official vendors' area but space will be available for those who wish to offer items for sale.

FACILITIES

The camp is located in the Pocono Mountains in Northeastern Pennsylvania (see map) on 400 acres and includes a lake. There are hostel-style cabins that can accommodate up to 100 individuals as well as tenting areas that can accommodate an additional 50; however, registration for the Gathering will be closed when we reach 100 to keep things manageable. There is a fully functional kitchen for us to use and 3 different fire circles, as well as buildings that can house various activities.

Lodging is also available in the nearby town of Milford, PA, for those who prefer not to camp, or if all available camping spaces are filled.
Click here for a list of area hotels and motels.
