Chinese Martial Arts have much to offer the modern druid, from sophisticated energy systems to physical conditioning. We will be exploring some basic gigong and martial "games" that can be used to increase energy awareness and group cohesion. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water if desired. This class will involve physical contact.
Dana O'Driscoll- Magical, Medicinal and Edible Plant Walk AND Smudge Sticks
Smudge sticks are fun, in that they are easy to make. There is mugwort, white pine, some other materials right on the Netimus property! This is a two part adventure. Part 1 will include a walk to gather the materials native to the area. Part 2 will be assembling the smudge sticks and a discussion of magical herbalism. Even if you cannot participate in the walk, come join in the wonderful discussion and learn more about the magic of plants!

For those of you that have attended Pantheacon, you may recognize this phrase from a presentation Cathryn gave a few years ago. This will be an interactive workshop that encourages people to participate together in music-making. Deep down, isn't everyone is a musician? Cathryn promises a good time will be had by all. How can you resist attending?
Loam Ananda- Eisteddfodd? What the Heck can I do to contribute?
Join Loam in an informal "build your Eisteddfodd entry" workshop. She will facilitate a variety of solo/group activities that will lead to songs/skits/poems/stories ready to share at the weekend's fires. This will be a fun-packed way to contribute to an Original content, built on site, in community, to add to the fire.
Tom Dannsarach- Using the "Druid" Voice and other tips for Vocalization
How important is using your breath, resonance, etc. in vocalization? While he states he is not an "opera singer," Tom certainly has the experience to guide us in producing tones that resonate. He will call upon his many years of voice lessons and coaching to provide some easy pointers and tips on relaxing the breath mechanism to use when speaking or singing. It will be a guided vocal warmup, utilizing first yawns and sighs, then moving on to Awens and perhaps the Vow.
